[and Bcc'd to a few select family & friends /not/ on the
[mit e-club or our seminar lists - so, not to worry, you've
[/not/ been subscribed to those lists ... - r]

_living on earth_

heard locally, BOS & vicinity, sunday at 0700 (tomorrow)
on WBUR-FM, at 90.9mHz

in the great state of maine, monday at 1230
on MPBN, at 89.7, 90.1, 90.5, 90.9, 91.3, 106.1 & 106.5mHz

for those of you away or otherwise `off' of broadcast radio,
and/or who just can't wait, the script and photo docs are
at the loe site:

http://www.loe.org/shows/segments.htm?programID=07-P13-00034&segmentID=4

back-story:
heads-up, all! - if a little early-ish for some -

the e-club's BRUCE GELLERMAN went forth and did, after
all, create a national public radio documentary piece
on the e-club's KURT KEVILLE (the project's PI) - about
the mit solar decathlon's house-7 project, for which
kurt serves as leader ...

the house, mit's 7th solar design since 1938, when
godfey lowell cabot funded the first effort, is
now nearing completion!

for in-depth historical bits see:

http://mit.edu/solardecathlon/history.html

what isn't clear on these mit project pages is that the
effort needs additional funding, and among other mechanisms,
there's a chance to participate in a raffle and win a new
solar car from current competition donors!

meanwhile, bruce's reminder note appears below.

THANKS BRUCE!

Hi Richard,

I produced a story about the MIT Solar Decathlon & Kurt Keville.
It's on this week's Living on Earth heard locally on WBUR this
Sunday at 7 am. Spread the word. Feedback is always welcomed.

Bruce
