Dear Alumnae and Alumni,

When Dr. Dorothy Height died this morning, another towering oak fell in the forest.  Those of us who were shielded by the leafy branches of her humanity and anchored and emboldened by the deep roots of her courageous example in civil rights and women's rights are forever in her debt.

Born at a time when women could not vote and Jim Crow and lynching of African Americans was widespread in this country, she lived long enough and worked hard enough to see that same country elect an African American president.

Active until the very end, Dr. Dorothy Height PAID HER DUES!  In fact, she paid so many dues, she is owed a million dollars in change!

Best regards,

Dave Evans

Clerisy noted US human right violations: if we don't enact affordable health care, we ask our trade partners ...

to sanction us monetarily through UN resolution. Have we not failed to
take care of entire classes of people? It appears the intent to harm
is there. Our own legislative proceedings make it evident.

Hi Everyone,

Lotus Foods needs your help! We've applied for a grant for our latest
initiative, called SRI. SRI (System of Rice Intensification) is a
revolutionary method of growing rice using 25-50% less water, 80-90%
less seed, no agri-chemicals, that produces higher yields, increases
nutrition, and helps reduce global methane emissions.

We've recently applied for a grant to help us get the word out about
this exciting new project, but we need your help to make it happen. Go
to this page: http://youtopia.uservoice.com/pages/33754-socially-responsible-for-profit
and vote for "More Rice with Less Water".

If you have a Facebook account, you can post a link to it there, and
encourage others to join the One Seed Revolution!

Lotus Foods (and the family farmers we buy our rice from) thanks you
for helping us make this project a successful one.

-Julian

You'll find attached some more information on our SRI rices.

You're being contacted because you sent in a Rice Cooker Warranty card
indicating that you were interested in receiving information, updates,
and promotions from Lotus Foods. If you've changed your mind, please

People get ready rident

Not paying attention to what is happening in the Obama administration.
Low info diet you know. Imagine about now the naysayers on certain
networks are in high gear. Threats to this President are four times
his predecessor.

Do you believe in home grown recipes? The story, in medias res we
should draw from the bank of the Black American experience. Keep
going. To exhaustion and then some. Have faith. Each of us has a part.
It is important that you do yours. We won't make it without you. God
has blessed America to give us a chance to step forward. Straighten
your back. Grab the hands of those next to you. Lean.
