planetary day of action in 2009 to push for a strong United Nations
climate treaty. Why 350? According to leading scientists 350 parts per
million is the safe upper limit for carbon in the atmosphere, and
consequently represents the target any international climate deal must
aim for. Events are already being planned at iconic places around the
world, from the Taj Mahal to Mt. Kilimanjaro to the Great Barrier
