The 2006 Om for Kids Yogathon is coming up, and we want you to be among the first to sign up! Om for Kids is an event sponsored by Covenant House California as a way to raise funds for homeless youth. This year, the Yogathon will take place on September 23rd in Sharon Meadow at beautiful Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. The registration fee is $25, but what goes around comes around, and with it comes a myriad of goodies including free yoga classes, Tazo tea, a t-shirt (if you sign up now) and a warm, fuzzy feeling, knowing you are contributing to an extremely important cause.
You can register as an individual or a team captain, join a team, or simply sponsor a friend with just a few clicks of your mouse!

"What? Is homeless youth an issue?" Our resounding answer is YES.
In this past year alone, Covenant House California...
- served more than 100,000 meals
- reached out to nearly 12,000 kids on the streets nightly
- offered 639 youth a place to sleep, with an average of 52 kids per
night, each with a 45-day stay on average
- helped secure over 5,000 physician, nurse, and psychiatric visits
But we couldn't do this without people like you who support events like
this!
Thank you in advance and extra thanks to those of you who have already
supported us, for example at our launch party at 111 Minna Gallery; we
look forward to seeing all of you on September 23rd!
Thanks and namaste.
