Celebrate Earth Day with Yale & National Geographic (April 20th) in Sebastopol, CA

Celebrate Earth Day (April 20th) in Green Valley
1 to 4 pm
at Iron Horse Vineyards
Sebastopol, CA
"Eat, Drink & Be Green"

Please click on http://ironhorsevineyards.com/events/ for the ticket
order form and for more information!

This is a fun, grass-roots, eco-event, featuring a walk around tasting
of spring releases from the aptly named Green Valley.

The keynote speaker will be Gil Grosvenor, Chairman of National
Geographic. Gil has devoted 50 years of his life to the Society.

Iron Horse Chef Christopher Greenwald will present his interpretation
of "world street food".

There will be a "Green Market" highlighting select, exciting, green
products like the Calfee bamboo bike, Renewable Energy Credits from
Village Green and the Tesla $100,000 electric roadster.

The event will also feature a live, solar powered, reggae band
performing on the back of an Iron Horse flatbed farm truck, and a
raffle for one year free energy, up to $4,000.

Ticket prices are $50 General Admission and $250 for the All Access
Pass, which includes a private reception at the Victorian home of Iron
Horse founders Audrey & Barry Sterling, a V.I.P. gift bag and five
"Good Energy Points", valued at $20 each, which enters your name five
times in the drawing for one year free energy up to $4,000. There is
no limit to how much "Good Energy" you can contribute.

I would love to hear from fellow alums, preferably via email, to
eliminate as much paper waste as possible. My address is
joy@ironhorsevineyards.com. And, it would be so great if you would
please forward this invitation to any and all whom you feel might be
interested in contributing.

Where better to celebrate Earth Day than in an area where the
vineyards are an undulating sea of bright green, the famous local
Gravenstein apples are in bloom and the wineries in this great
Chardonnay and Pinot Noir growing area are showing their new spring
releases?

With all my thanks and best wishes, Joy Sterling - Calhoun, Yale '75
