Harvard Film Group and TankFilm present Pitch Night
Each filmmaker has 15 minutes to tell you about their new project and
how you can become involved.

Projects include:

WE PLAY HOCKEY
Producers: Dore Hammond, Mark DeSimone
Producer/Director Dave Rogers

WE PLAY HOCKEY takes an in-depth look at a women's ice hockey team and
their journey from underdog to National Champs. It shatters any
preconceived notions of women as passive spectators to life. These women
compete fiercely, the action on the ice is exciting, and in the end,
it's not about the fact that these are women playing a man's game --
it's about the hockey and winning. Producers: Dore Hammond, Mark
DeSimone and Producer/Director Dave Rogers are seeking finishing funds
to edit their feature length documentary film which has already been
shot.

DDR DRIVER
produced, written, and directed by Cullen McGraw

Cullen McGraw initially went to Sierra Leone over a year ago to conduct
research on child soldiers. While there, my focus shifted to the oft
neglected 'ex-child soldier'. On subsequent visit Cullen immersed myself
in the lives of ex-child combatants and got a firsthand look at their
daily struggle to survive without aid in the worlds second poorest
country. The result of these experiences is a feature length script.
This screenplay is based on a composite of people Cullen met and their
experiences on the streets of Freetown.

ENEMY ALIEN
produced and directed by Konrad Aderer

Enemy Alien is a first-person documentary telling the two-year struggle
to free a Palestinian activist detained in the wake of 9/11. The story
is told through the eyes of a Japanese-American filmmaker who becomes
personally involved in the struggle and must confront his own family's
World War II internment.

TITUS X
a film by Randy Bell, written by Shawn Northrip

Titus Andronicus is Shakespeare's bloodiest play, with 14 killings (9 of
them onstage), 6 severed members, 1 rape (or 2 or 3, depending on how
you count), 1 live burial, 1 case of insanity, and 1 of cannibalism – an
average of 5.2 atrocities per act, or one for every 97 lines. (In our
production, we've raised the stakes to include 2 counts of infanticide,
1 count of incest, and a dead band member.)

WHEN HEAVEN CALLS
produced and directed by Anushka Wirasinha

If you dialed a number on your cell phone and reached heaven, what would
you say? If you got a call back from the All Mighty what would you do?
Jess had no job, no boyfriend and no place to live until one day her
whole life completely turned around. A single bolt of lightening hit her
cell phone and opened a paranormal connection direct to heaven.
