This meeting is being organized by the Harvard ABCD Design Working Group.

Eliza Grinnell (DEAS), Katie Giddings (HBS), and Rebecca Dornin (HBS) have
pulled together as a team to organize a few meetings this year for the ABCD
Design working group. The focus of our meetings will be on developing a
sense of community among those who work in Marketing and Communications,
Design, and User Experience at Harvard. Meeting topics will include graphic
design for print and the web, user experience design, and information
architecture. We will meet 5-6 times in 2006-2007, with a few presentations
at Lamont Library and also a few after hours networking events otherwise
known as "AFTAS" as mentioned above. Find out more about the Harvard ABCD
groups at http://www.abcd.harvard.edu.

Katie, Eliza, and Rebecca are all involved with the American Institute of
Graphic Artists, so we have close ties with the latest goings on in the
print, graphic design, user experience, and information architecture
industries.
